## The problem it solves
A single export shipment generates several documents — customs declaration, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, sales contract. They are produced by different people, at different times, in different systems. One mismatched amount, quantity, country or consignee name is enough to trigger a customs hold, a withheld payment, or a rejected letter-of-credit presentation. Checking them by eye or in a spreadsheet is slow and easy to get wrong.

## What it does
Drop those documents in. Key fields are extracted automatically and compared across the whole set, surfacing inconsistencies in seconds.

## Documents supported (6 types)
- Export customs declaration: domestic shipper, overseas consignee, contract no., packages, gross/net weight, trade terms, goods detail
- Commercial Invoice (CI): seller, buyer, amount, currency, quantity, unit price, Incoterms
- Packing List (PL): packages, packing type, gross weight, net weight, volume, line-item quantities
- Bill of Lading (B/L): shipper, consignee, notify party, cargo description, freight terms, port of loading and discharge
- Certificate of Origin (CO): country of origin, country of destination, cargo description, issuing authority
- Sales contract: buyer and seller, product, quantity, amount, delivery terms, signatories

## Design principles
- A deterministic rule engine keeps false alarms below 5%; suspected anomalies are raised as review / warn hints, never as verdicts
- Amounts and document content are never fabricated; malformed input degrades gracefully instead of crashing
- Parsing runs client-side; sensitive fields can be redacted before upload, and source documents are never sent to any third-party large language model
- Every finding traces back to the exact field and rule, so conclusions can be re-checked and explained
